Theme: “Valuing Our International Students: Learning, Living & Working Together”
CISWA Annual Conference 2025 is the premier event in Western Australia dedicated to international education. This year’s theme celebrated the contributions international students make to WA through study, community, and employment.
The program featured:
- Opening address: Hon Dr Parwinder Kaur
- Sector update: Hon Phil Honeywood, CEO IEAA
- Insights from employers and industry bodies on the value of international students in the workforce, with speakers from Ageing Australia, EY, and Westgold Resources
- A dedicated session on student accommodation and housing trends from URBIS
- StudyPerth – Career Mentoring session
- Presentation from the schools’ sector and their role in international education
- Panels with current students and graduates sharing their lived experiences
- Networking opportunities over morning tea & lunch, and post-conference drinks
It was a wonderful opportunity to connect with peers, hear from experts, and engage with the voices of students shaping the future of international education in WA.
