The Council for International Students of Western Australia
CISWA- The Council for International Students of Western Australia, is an independent, voluntary, non-profit group which was established in 1963 to promote the wellbeing of international students living and studying in Western Australia.
The Council is run by volunteers who are current/retired staff from a variety of WA education providers. CISWA also provides important support to the staff who work with international students. Educational Institutions or organisations are encouraged to become a member of CISWA so they can access the monthly CISWA Working Party meetings ( listen to a guest speaker and a great networking opportunity with international staff from other WA institutions), discounted rates to the annual winter conference and an informative monthly e-newsletter.
CISWA offers support to international students through:
Affordable Student Day Trips (Caversham, Pinnacles, Penguin Island)
Country Hosting

Maintaining links with student organizations
Supporting the international staff through providing PD Seminars, Working Party meetings, Annual winter conference, so they can in turn provide improved support and service to students
